About

A bit about me

I'm an entrepreneur and software engineer who builds consumer products end to end, and right now I'm shipping a growing portfolio of my own. By day I'm on Snap's Profile & Creators team, where I own the public web profile experience and its SEO: making profile pages fast, crawlable, and easy to find for search engines and AI assistants.

Every job so far has taught me a different part of the craft. AWS taught me distributed systems and what high reliability actually takes. Google pulled me closer to the user: consumer product, mobile development, and UX on the Android Dialer, still at massive scale. And Snap is teaching me the thing I needed most, how products grow.

Now I'm putting it all into practice with my own products, led by Goat Studio, Goat Music, Puzzably, and AlloyHaus. All of it is built nights and weekends on my own time and equipment, entirely separate from my day job. Each one teaches me a little more about taking an idea from zero to live with real distribution. Before any of this I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at UT Austin.

    Profile & Creators

    Jun 2025 – Present

    What I am learning: how products grow, through distribution, SEO, and consumer delight.

    • Lead the startup squad for Snap's SEO team, running organic-growth experiments across Snapchat's public web surface.
    • Own the public web profile pages and their SEO: crawling, indexing, and discovery across search engines and AI assistants.
    • Built an AI system that autonomously reproduces, root-causes, fixes, and verifies bugs on real devices, then opens PRs with before and after recordings.

  2. Google

    Android Dialer

    Aug 2022 – Jun 2025

    What I learned: consumer product craft, mobile development, and UX at reliable scale.

    • Led the ground-up reimplementation of the Dialer on Android Auto, closing feature gaps and reaching parity with the mobile dialer.
    • Shipped v3 of Direct My Call through a four-arm UX experiment that doubled feature engagement.
    • Built and maintained hero features including Call Screening, Hold For Me, and Direct My Call, and instrumented metrics around critical user journeys.

    S3 Glacier

    Mar 2020 – Jul 2022

    What I learned: distributed systems and the discipline of high reliability and availability.

    • Built and operated RESTful services that schedule and execute I/O on S3 Glacier cold-storage hardware, with monitoring for hardware health, availability, and data durability.
    • Designed automation to improve hardware reliability while reducing cost and labor; rotated on-call to root-cause and resolve operational events.
